I don’t want this significant event to go unnoticed. Many of those laid off were lured to FSP with a bunch of lies of long term work. Didn’t matter that the client wanted to keep them on. If you are US based, with older and more experienced being a bonus, you are doomed.

This company really su-ks, the worst management I’ve ever seen! The last manager I had there was a huge loser. He was trying to push me out because of my age. He tried using the “ quiet quitting “ on me.

Jobs are being moved to low cost countries- massive layoffs across Western Europe also today.
There is absolutely no job security currently at Thermofisher - avoid at all costs.
