We are barely hanging on by a thread in Austin-South Texas. Profits over people has been the motto around the area. How many employees need to be sick to realize the covid procedures are absolute garbage now.

I can see the over the topdown voting from I believe some team that oversee this site. First of all, not that many people visit this site for the numbers that are recorded. The verbatim from retail reps on this site is a true everyday experience in the retail environment in the industry. At this point, I would not recommend this job to anyone in the job market
If you're scared to work, quit. Chances are you're just lazy and want to get paid to not work. Find a work from home job or go to work. Covid isn't going away, people have been getting the cold and flus for years, same same.
@3oua+1eJPq8HE- good thing you have a 99.5+% chance of surviving covid so you can sleep safe and sound every night.
My store has been running with 2 reps for two months and 2 managers. And we are a super busy store. Tell me how this is work life balance? Tell me how the employees running rampid and barely getting breaks is ok.
Yep! My store has closed yet again because if someone's they live with has covid and the employee get tested that day and is negative they are sending them back to work or go other stores and are spreading covid because they don't give the proper amount of time to get tested.
To "Over it" A coworker just returned to work today from that" Covid cough " he was out for 7 weeks with a week and a half in hospital, and 3 days on a ventilator .By the way he wasn't vaccinated like yourself. If this wasn't an anonymous site I would let him talk to you about your views of this " covid cough "
everyone is sick - 2019 - "its flu season.... hey how about those playoffs"
everyone is sick - 2022 - "oh man, i cant believe we are all sick, this is crazy, we have to get all boosted, not sure why, we need to reduce all risk 100% of anyone ever getting sick or dying..... ever.... mitigate all risk so their is no risk at all and noone ever gets sick... ever....ever!!!!!!!!!
We don't follow the science anymore. That was so 2021. In 2022 we follow the money. And the money says work while testing positive and let infected customer filth cough all over your face! We need the VZ stock to go up.
The "levers say" you have to have 2 reps and a manager to be open but my DM keeps us open in Phoenix even when it's me and 1 sales person! Talk about a lack of accountability and a lack of safety!!
Big Swede and the cronies out in force downvoting. lol
I see the down voting has begun from the VZW team that oversee this site for anti policy verbatim. Instead, of discussing the issues and concerns with employees on the frontline. They continue with no guidelines on anything from safety to staffing shortages. For example, in NYM, they will keep a store open with 2 people in a very high volume location. If that's not a safety concern I don't know what is! I understand safety protocols and at this point covid isn't as deadly as thought beforehand, however who wants to get it, not me. Lastly, I have to work 8 ,9 hour shifts with a mask on in a small crowded store whe helping with in customers that don't have to wear masks. That customer has no regards or respect for anyone in the store they are walking into. The avg time with the needy customers has to be around 30 .instead per customer. The are 20,000 new cases in NYC and NJ everyday
Everyone in our store feels that no one cares and more is at 0 while being bombarded with the anti employee surveys .
The current Covid cough going around isn’t ki----g anyone. It’s time we get back to work. We have had enough time off and I’m tired of being the only one that shows up, especially since I’m the only unvaccinated person at my office. A lot of good that vaccine did you guys huh?
Yea let's let 2 people run the store....F that.
Running 3 bodies in stores that usually have 6-8 is not ideal. We are all physically, emotionally and psychologically drained. We tell this to our DM and all they say is, “ we approved your stores to close early, and now you can really crush the metrics”. This is how out of touch those not in a store are!
42,505,374 people in the USA have recovered from COVID-19
They don't want us talking?? Guess I'll talk to THE UNION instead.
Same here. "Can we open the store? We got enough to get the store opened?" GTFO with that sh-t, sittin at home in your living room in sweatpants trying to acting like you're running a district. Talk about out of touch.
Now they are instructing employees not to talk to each each about being sick and results of covid tests.
It's because they are following thr cdc guidelines which haven't been updated to include vaccinated people getting and spreading covid. You have a vaccinated person exposed and they can return as soon as next day with a negative test. It takes a lot longer than 1 day to produce a negative test they should be quarantined like everyone else.
Yeah they don't care. Directors have the message "keep stores open at all costs" They will keep them open with 3 people where I'm at. They might close them early but that's about it. We need to go back to occupancy limits and digital preferred. Lucky our GM is smart so we tell all the BS transactions that aren't on our commissions to go away.
