Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Jay and Tony Video

Have you seen the Jay and Tony video on Crown web page? Jay was not his normal "together" self. Shaky and stuttering. I almost felt sorry for him.

Your director is an id--t. Get out. I don’t know 1 person not looking for a new job. Evan an unsinkable ship sunk.

My director told us that we need to be grateful and work hard to make crown a successful company. We told him that you can’t honestly expect us employees to trust the EMT and he said that the EMT is doing everything they can to help the employees at Crown. #smh seriously? You expect us to drink the koolaid you’re drinking with all the VPs.

Sorry for him… the dude is getting millions in his severance from CC according to this article. Idk about you but that a lot more than the sh-t severance they offered me. https://www.andrewjowett.net/2023/12/07/crown-castle-ceo-out-following-letter-from-activist-investor/?noamp=available

What is this hold that Crown has over people? Specifically Jay? He’s not charismatic. He’s not inspiring. He’s a phony. His story about the kid who wants to be a firefighter? Give me a fu--ing break. He’s pathetic. I don’t feel sorry for him in the slightest, and nor should you.

Also to those of you saying “be positive” or “don’t insult Crown” or “if you don’t like it, leave” - get fu---d. Despite your cultish behavior, the rest of us haven’t drank the PURPLE Kool Aid and will rightfully insult this once great company that’s been run into the ground by a sh---y CEO and his sh---y EMT. And trust me, if it was so easy to find a job, Crown would have barely anyone left because everyone with a brain would be gone already as the writing is on the wall, clear as day.

Don't fool yourselves. Elliott is a corporate raider and could care less about saving jobs.

Elliott isn’t saving any jobs. Don’t make the mistake of thinking of them as heroes.

Google his annual salary and then see if you still “feel sorry” for him. I don’t.

Sorry, but we don't need to feel sorry for a multi-millionaire who recklessly tarnished the great reputation CC had in the industry, along with several states/communities. Jay has millions upon millions.... so him acting nervous likely hasn't happened since his childhood, where his local community bolstered up his ego so drastically that it took the Elliot Group intervening.... to disrupt typical CEO arrogance/narcissistic indifference to ironically, save some jobs.

“Yes, look at the history of Verizon layoffs over the past 6 or 7 years. Very bad news for Crown.”

Dude hasn’t been at Verizon since 2015. How are the layoffs over the past 6-7 years his fault?

That's like feeling sorry for Jared from Subway

This is just getting embarrassing, he needs to fade away. He still shows no accountability, and the videos keep getting cringier and cringier from him. I don’t trust anything JB says - he is not a good a leader, a proven lair, and a huge liability for this company

The fact that Crown is covering for him is also disgusting, and makes it hard to trust anyone up top

I don’t feel sorry for him. His decision cost 1,000 people their jobs, and he wanted to make 1,300 more people pay with theirs. As for Tony, I don’t trust anyone from Verizon. They’re known for their terrible employee relations.
