Will the next round be coming in April? With the last round pretty much wrapping up soon, liquidators should be available. Maybe Ed will use this downturn as cover to close some more? He has a built in excuse now, maybe he can knock off another 50-100 stores. Hopefully all the Kmarts at least. Any idea when the next round will be announced, and any idea which ones will be next?

God you guys are dumb. Eddie is about to cash in, he just needs to keep the stores open. The government is bailing the whole country out. Take your temp lay-off, get your $1000 a week unemployment, come back after the stores gonna be full. He’s locked in to get billions in stimulus - go read the bill yourself mnuchin hooked Eddie up!
@3nxm+147BlYt1 Did you get a chance to call any of those to see if they were actually getting blasted? If we can honestly get rid of the PA, PR Kmarts, that's a pretty neat blast right there!
On the Sears.com store locator, these stores have been removed:
- - Concord CA and Hayward, CA
- - All four Pennsylvania stores
- - All six Puerto Rico stores
These stores were not on any previously announced closing or liquidation list that I'm aware of.
I didn't bother looking at Kmart's store locator, because nobody appears to be even trying to keep it up to date.
Hopefully, we get a good, 50-100 + "boom-boom blasts" in April! As you indicated, this downturn gave Ed a perfect foil for what he (and most of us on this site) wants to do anyway, which is to close (boom-boom blast) the remaining stores outta here! :)

One thing is for sure: Sears is close to collapse. Underwear is 90% off, Vanity Fair bras are $4.99, pj's $4.99, purses 90% off. There's no spring apparel. Shoes is a joke. You cannot get many appliances. The floor is bare. We are lucky to get a 200 piece truck. They are disassembling fixtures and selling them.
Be patient my son. it will come. You will get all the closings, that your heart desires. Very soon. Be patient, I promise it will come.

I Know you are being facetious, but I wouldn't be so sure that we won't see some closings real soon. This downturn affects all businesses and this isn't exempt from that. I think Eddie might rightfully use this virus as cover, for what he really wants to do and shut the stores down. And good for him, that's what he should do. I'm not sure, of course, but I wouldn't be surprised to see about, at least, 20-30 blasts (my word for closings), possibly in April. It's coming soon, I can feel it, I just don't Know when. We'll be rid of these pesky stores very soon. Very soon.

Sorry "List/Link Man" but it's not happening. They are more likely to just have some stores "go dark" for awhile. There will not be any new store liquidations announcements anytime soon. Especially since most of the states where there are stores are on lockdown.
I heard we are closing til April 7th too ... But we are selling fixtures and barely getting in any merchandise so it's obviously over.

I sure hope so buddy. This virus has been very bad for those affected but 1 tiny good thing we may get out of it is putting this id–tic company out of its misery. As you mentioned, Ed has a built in excuse now, so I hope he uses it to give us some nice, juicy closings! We were getting a steady diet of them in 2019, seemed to taper off a bit now. As a closing enthusiast, I hope he feeds a bunch more soon! Always exciting when we get a nice, blockbuster list of 50+ blasts! We need some real juicy ones again!
