Sumpins up buckaroos cause STLs don't get vacay the week between Xmas and New Year's ever. STL @QRY was supposed to open but called in Thursday morning saying, well, that something came up.

There's a difference between speculation with some meat behind it and break room rumors stemming from some misguided emoloyee who spins them as truth. The meeting that was supposedly about layoffs coming on the 4th was about teams meeting expectations. That's it. No boogeyman lay off plan, no STLs getting let go, no store closing. If you have something with an iota of truth behind it then by all means use this board to let us know. But STL bashing gets you nowhere. My joy through this whole lay off process has been seeing people moan about how incompetent leadership is when they themselves have no desire to move up in this company, yet expect things to change. Smh

@mbw perhaps you missed the explanation for which this site functions as? Discussion/rumors and -gasp-speculation falls into that. If you dont like it, stop reading and replying.
They often do have impromptu/emergency meetings for STLs. I would not hold out on the hope that either got fired, but I will say I will not be suprised if they are shuffled out eventually. Neither one of those two fools in SATX really know what they're doing, especially at QRY.

Well but the same Florida region is good at shielding STLS in the inner circle, remember a few years ago how they protected their friend who was arrested for DUI and a chain of other crimes. They kept his job safe and life is good!
Hopefully they start to hold STL's in Norcal accountable!!!! But unlikely in that RVP's have personal relationships so nothing ever happens.
FL Region here, just checked MyJourney, can confirm Coral Gables has an STL opening. These f---ers ain't playing. No one is safe, trust no one.

They gave an STL in florida the "offer he couldnt refuse" -step down- just days after the new year...and he worked at a million+ store

STL's had a meeting for sure. Maybe a class. That's all we know. Well... the new date to watch for would be 1/18, the start of the new fiscal period.
Or they could both have lives and have taken legitimate vacations. But sure, let's speculate some more why don't we.
