Has anybody else heard about potential layoffs in April? What are the chances it's really going to happen?

@kb on integrity , it ain’t about integrity but what the management has done previously - shutting down voices that don’t align with their own selfish interests and expect the employees to stay loyal and professional. This is a lack of trust not integrity
Any update on potential layoffs?
@3pm I want to see heads roll. Smart leaders aren't head faked by a quarter.
I don’t think there will be major layoffs after such a strong quarter. FactSet is now the place to be when you compare it to firms like Amazon and Oracle which are laying off large percentages. For those (like me) who stuck around, we made the right choice. Sanoke knows what he’s doing.
@3hd he’s in the midst of tabulating statistics mate, can’t cut the essentials and at FactSet it’s so hard to recognise who’s the one doing the work.
Positive report today. Still low margins and eps negative growth. At some point, the only way to increase those is cuts. But seems like Sanoke not ready to pull trigger.
@2nw earnings Tuesday. Then I expect craziness.
@2ns 100% A lot of anxiety acros teams. Not knowin what to do if they not part of the big priorities.
@2hk not sure but it’s definitely been demoralizing not knowing if/when it’s coming
Does anyone know when first layoffs will be?
The ship is clearly sinking. Rats climb over each other for air in raw survival mode.
@kb No integrity internally, why would it extend outside?
@ke I'm hungry for more 😅
@kb agreed.
all info is hidden in plain sight internally
How is it possible that so much internal information is being shared in this forum. I would assume that only a small group of people have this knowledge. Seems to be a lack of integrity within the group.
Closing down smaller offices in USA and Europe - Austin USA to start.
They are aiming for mid/late April. Prob finalizing plan for the earning call
@es agreed. Seen more 'good' people leaving in the last few months than the last few years...
@ah I've seen a lot of people voluntarily leaving but haven't necessarily seen people being let go?
@ah yes. Job freeze, no backfill, additional reductions in April/May once new leaders in place.
It happening alreadytake a look around internally.
