Wasn't there something added to the GIG book a couple years back about a mandatory hashtag or something stupid that all employees (we aren't team members anymore) had to use when posting about WFM things? Whatever happened to that?

I agree- it's very insensitive to all of the TM's who have been shuffled around and are scared for their jobs. It seems like they should have cancelled it, especially after the last earnings call and done a video conference instead if they wanted to get leadership pumped up. It will be interesting to see what the STL's come back with to the stores. I know people are worried in NorCal.
With all going on in the company it is incredibly disrespectful to have such an event. If my STL brings up once how she had a good time the other TMs and I are out. We can't take anymore.
Really, we in the stores are working our asses off to keep the customers we have because we can't afford to use anymore PTO to make labor and our leadership is spending this kind of money?

What they need to discuss at tribal is how to lower prices and get people in out stores. Good deals on random things are not what we need are low prices on the things that all other companies have low prices on. We need to dispose of the majority of people in leadership roles they are over paid and under qualified. We are far behind technology wise and the people in technology roles are incompetent.

I am actually here at the mother ship scrambling to make it perfectly unrealistic for the watchful eyes of the brain trust. Time to be phony until sunday. Oh wait, I fit right in!
One collective group of people who have no idea how to save a sinking ship. Like a bad high school reunion but only full of the superficial people who went to high school. Living up the glory days of the time when they were all kings and rolling in money. The gathering this year will be leadership (or lack there of) getting together and figuring out how to hold onto their bloated rate of pay. Anyone who reads this website will see that Whole Foods leadership on all levels is an obsolute joke and only out for themselves. They don't give a damn about their team members at all. Tribal gathering will be a way they can figure out who to cut payroll and people in the stores. It's a joke and a sad one at that. Flying people all around while people are being "seperated" because of bs investigatons. It's a joke.
Why were Q1 bonuses so low? When I think of the money we spend at Tribal, it makes me want to hurl. There is NO transparency into how compensation works for salaried TMs at the regional offices. By and large, the majority of us came up through the stores and worked hard to get where we are now. How well you stroke RLT's egos seems to be in direct correlation on performance reviews and wage increases. Everyone can go pat themselves on the back (after closing none stores) and celebrate their judicious decisions and lobby to get WFM's 'cool factor' back. Everything about this company is a joke, primarily our leadership.

It is near insanity to have such a thing with everything happening in the company. Everyone in my store is disgusted and talks about it all the time. It should be cancelled immediately due to common sense butit will not though and while the fat cats are away the best mice will get stolen by the competition. I am attending and I find it to be a distasteful idea.
