I heard that there is a target to move more than 10% of P&O to India over the next few years. The quicker you train them then the quicker you will be replaced...

@3leu+1tl9vXI2, I was talking about finding quality hires in Pune. Lord knows it’s tough to have a career here when the 5 yr plan lasts till about Year 3 before some new head honcho comes and kicks the anthill (eg, re-org).

@2iil+1tl9vXI2 you guys have had a lot of great people leave over the past 2 years. I know of multiple phenomenal engineers that were unimpressed with you during the interview process and they went elsewhere.

Don't get co--y. The word is out. You guys are not the place to go for a fruitful career. This is why you cannot find good help.

Hahaha, go talk to some folks about the quality of the interviewees. I guess if you interview enough, and there are plenty, you’ll eventually find what bp is looking for but so far it’s been rough.
We’ll get them trained up only to watch them jump ship to whoever pays better.
Can’t says I blame ‘em as the market is cutthroat.
