Be careful about what you take to be true from here. A lot of posts seem to be coming from people that have no interest in providing any helpful input and just want to scare/anger you. I suspect that there are likely people trolling this website just to help people freak out even more.
I was chosen, the package is fine. It's been decently documented in here. It also includes job placement services and EAP benefits, so if you get targeted and didn't want out, take full advantage of that to get back on your feet asap.

Yes some of these posts are so spot on that I wonder if I know the poster. But it just goes to show you we are all experiencing the same events and abuse. Some just take reacting to it differently. Or it hasn’t registered with the victim ( us) yet.
A lot of GF defenders sound like abused housewives to me. “You don’t understand! He really loves me that’s why he hits me” vibes.
I think also for a long time my coworkers would turn a blind eye to this abuse or illogical actions of Globalfoundries. He-l sometimes that made me feel like I was so wrong and crazy for pointing out certain inconsistencies in what we were being told by management. But not anymore! It’s game over. Even the most die hard GFers supporters are chiming in and rallying against said behavior. So that is good.
But now it feels like the tides have definitely turned and the vast majority are openly speaking about the inconsistencies with what we are told and what actually happens. So that is good s d progress.
I see a lot of accurate feedback in line with my situation.
There's a lot of bad energy from seethers on this site. Don't take them seriously. They're trying to drag you down with them
Thanks for the warning, but I think that everyone who visits this page knows that some things written should be taken with a grain of salt. We also know which posts are more likely to be truthful and how to spot trolls and company shills. Besides, they pretty quickly get downvoted or nuked by site mods.
