@3jsc Kenmore products have been in military base stores for years.
Everyone here is stupid. A lot of warehouse space had been liquidated. Other retailers purchased these kenmore products being liquidated. Theres no deal between Sears and these other retailers. Except Amazon
Johnstown, PA. Our (former) store was in the same mall as a Boscov's that used to somehow acquire Kenmore appliances via closeout from the original manufacturers. They would sell them well below our prices. People were constantly asking for a price match but corporate would always crack down when we did it..."Kenmore is only available at Sears. There's no need to price match."
I'm the poster below. I meant to say that on those rare occasions when the Sears store price was lower we couldn't price match because of Sears store policy toward military base pricing. The vast majority of the time the military pricing was lower on Kenmore products.
They have also been selling Kenmore products on military base stores for years. Some of the military servicemen and women actually asked us to price match which we couldn't do because of Sears policy toward military pricing. The military pricing was always lower on Kenmore products than in the Sears store.
They have been quietly selling kenmore at random retailers for a few years now. Kenmore vacuums and grills are available only at several stores and kenmore laundry can be found at Lowe’s. Search kenmore on a variety of retail websites and you will be surprised to see what is available.
