Well, no surprise the New CEO was told by PD to get it together or else! DM will be punishing front line operations. Your fu***d if you OSP/Field Service. Again it’s all about the productivity. Minimum of 6 FTTH installs per tech every day! 8-9 coax TC’s every day. “ I will be very upfront with alll employees.” I’m not here to make friends.” “ We have work to do here and I will have in place who I need to get it done.” Good luck Asstice!!

More of the same will not work. The sooner the new CEO realizes that, the better. It's more likely that this is the beginning of the end, before the entire company gets sold off. To many teams are partially or completely outsourced, ranging from customer service/tsg (probably 95%+ outsourced), techs/osp, IT and even engineering-level teams. Many of my coworkers feel overworked, taking on more responsibility and more work without a raise to compensate for the extra tasks that seem to be building up constantly. Staffing has been cut significantly, despite getting more responsibility. Old timers see new hires walk in and make as much or more compensation in some cases with no experience. That feels very wrong.
If the new CEO wants to turn things around, then he needs to look at what made Cablevision great. In house techs, in house customer service, in house engineering level teams. A fair path of career progression that rewards senior level employees across the footprint to make them feel valuable before they jump ship. This includes those who choose to stay in the same position as a senior/team leader. Keeping the plant in good working order, getting customers a tech in some cases within the same day for critical issues. I honestly see none of this happening. I think it's more likely Suddenlink gets sold off in chunks or the entire thing. Eventually Optimum will be bought out by Comcast. I hope I'm wrong.

No one in this place is safe! Customers, investors, Employees are all fleeing! Think what you want but this place loses over 1000 customers per day, It’s s all over the internet and BBB. You can look for your self, The complaints and lawsuits are off the charts. Union can help but not for long. No customers no BUISNESS. As far as 6 Fiber installs a day, you have a better chance of getting hit by a car because now Verizon is the leading industry. No one calls for cable anymore. People stream Ana Altice just can’t cut it . To many mistakes of letting people go who cared. Now it’s all scabs. Nassau county had 3 depots with over 600 techs down to 3 teams of 14 each. They can’t even hire for this place
