Hiring in Shermans new plant, laying off everywhere else?
I thought before the ChipsAct they were closing Sherman-Old plant and South Bldg, the two oldest plants the news said. Then the ChipsAct was the hype, and now INTEL and everyone else seems to be laying off except TSMC in AZ.
TI Dallas doesnt have much left do they? DMOS5/6..South Building..
RFAB has been cutting people which was a surprise they had huge banners to Hire not long ago. Whats up with that?
Yunus is no Kyle or Kevin Ritchie. No ground floor experience in the wafer fab.......came from A/T side.....where labor was cheap and plentiful with no real need for experience. Pegged his personality as a cancer nearly 15 years ago.......luckily never had to be a direct report. Couldn't accept simple economics of why suppliers would not do certain thing "just cause TI asked" when faced with the financial numbers of how such actions would bankrupt the suppliers. Now retired.
Manchester NH .......???
