Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

GE workforce drops again, but at slowest rate in 4 years

So long Schenectady jobs it’s the layoff game again. The good thing is that the CA agreement will make it easier to layoff and eliminate jobs.

Why do all you id--ts go on and on about respect? You carry it like a badge, but in reality, two generations of leadership from the Depaolos and fernadez’s and all they’ve done is make themselves richer from the sweat off YOUR back… you’d all be better off without them. Take it from someone who got out: your job sucks, your boss sucks, your company is a sucky shell of what it was even just 10 years ago. Go get a state job with real insurance. My wife had surgery last year, it cost me $50, and I pay exactly the same in weekly premiums.

@8ekb+1ffOA8fo. Don't be fooled by GE's BS. They're using a labor shortage as an excuse for years of pi$$ poor management. Other companies are thriving and calling back workers, including Wabtec, which a few years ago escaped the clutches of the cancerous GE corporate culture. GE's motto: "Never waste a good crisis". They're certainly not wasting this one.

GE recipe for failure
GE is now missing earnings, stock dived today because GE labor shortage. The let go so many people, others went elsewhere because toxic workplace.
Now they can't get work out result in big loss of potential earnings.
Major supply chain issues also ki----g earnings.

GE used to be great engineering and manufacturing company, with long term highly trained, skilled experts. Now GE is a low quality outsourcing outfit with mostly warm bodies instead of highly skilled experts they need.
