Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

All Good at Hasbro - Toy Industry up 8% - How's mattel doing again?

From Fortune:

"Acknowledging that the massive demand for new Star Wars Toys had even beaten Hasbro’s highest expectations, Goldner declared, “We have fundamentally caught up with demand.”

“Over the past few weeks, we had seen some shortage of products that were selling exceedingly well,” he said in an interview with Fortune yesterday. But the company picked up the slack, and empty store shelves should soon be filled.

“We will not miss sales in the upcoming weeks and months,” said Goldner."

Used to work there, believe me #Hasbro has a ton of internal issues as well. Not as bad as #Mattel but still pretty messed up

Yep. Another year of subpar products from Mattel. Looks like they might change things up and actually have layoffs around the holidays this year. God knows there are enough useless slugs in the office that need to be salted and pushed out the door.

Hasbro & Lego are absolutely on fire $ales wise at retail. No joke, as Mattel chokes. This is what happens when a company promotes incompetent, insecure idiots into upper mismanagement . I know for a fact that ex MattHell employees who escaped to Lego & Hasbro are laughing their product margins off at what's happening in El Segundo as Dickson spends his time/effort hitting the gym instead of hitting the task at hand. Evillynn fired the seamstress that sewed her wedding dress. Nice.
