Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Recall

File for Category A Recall Rights immediately following layoff (applicable only for employees who elect or default into income continuation)

Somebody care to explain the part in parentheses? Seems kind of discerning for newer employees.

You Are RIGHT @2vqm+15O4zrWO
However I will Not apologize for an article
They updated since yesterday 07/07/2020 – when I first captured it and then
Re-read the article and posted it at about 15:00 07/08/2020
Prior to the update @ 17:15UTC the “news” listed the incidents by
Flight number not by Tail number.

Besides, who in their right mind could possibly slander Boeing.
We are way beyond that. We are into the indictment phase now.

***Update on 07/08/020 @ 17:15UTC – United Airlines confirmed the aircraft
had “multiple issues with the slat and flaps”***

The leadership of Boeing and the Federal Aviation Agency should be indicted
for the murder of the 346 men, women and children they kїlled ...

@2zjp+15O4zrWO you know it's the 4the incident on the SAME aircraft right. Not just a 787-9, the same serial number 787-9. There is obviously an issue with that particular plane that has not been fixed yet.

If it was 4 different 787-9s I might be more worried. But the fact you left that key fact out means your goal is slander and fearmongering and not genuine concern.

At What Point Do We Recall The 787-9?
Every in-flight problem is not necessarily a Boeing manufacturing defect.
However flight crews can no longer take any chances with Boeing aircraft.

I just follow orders @2yjs ; the pay and the benefits are fantastic.
If someone is stupїd enough to fly on a “modern” Boeing aircraft that’s on them,
They have a lower IQ than I…

There is no reason to take the (“Lum” sum:-)

@2yyn+15O4zrWO if you take money from the company that you feel is murderous and greedy, you are part of the "syndicate"

You don't get to pick and choose which aspects you are associated with.

End of story

You're better off moving on to working for a different company altogether. Waiting around for Boeing to give you the job of a lifetime is foolish. Boeing is not the only aviation company in America to work for and it sure as hell is nowhere near the best to work for either.

Below is a list of Boeing standards for employment, as relates to IQ.
Purpose 1: To ensure management can dictate deviations from the Build Plan
(1) to ensure defective parts are used, while getting a refund from the supplier.
(2) to ensure Takt Times (a top priority) are met regardless of task completion.
Reason: employees who question cost cutting measures as inappropriate or illegal Reduce Managerial Bonuses by attempting to adhere to outdated safety standards

  • Hence the fowling IQ standards were adopted to ensure cost cutting measures.

If you are management there is a 48% chance you have an IQ under 123

If you are IAM there is a 93% chance you have an IQ under 87

If you are SPEEA there is a 57% chance you have an IQ under 130

If you are Non-Union there is a 34% chance you have an IQ under 112

While an engineering contractor has a 2% chance of having an IQ under 160

@2qqq
Your attempt at maligning Boeing employees is misplaced and shameful.
The vast majority of Boeing employees are hard working honest people.
While the vast majority of Boeing Management are completely corrupted,
highly manipulative and morally bankrupt.
To assert that all employees are knowingly a part of the Boeing Crime Syndicate
is malicious and ignorant. It is analogues with saying that all Italians are Mafioso.
Again such broad statements are malicious and ignorant.

It is in the contract for the IAM at least that for involuntary layoffs you will get a weeks pay for every year of service. These checks will be issued on regular paydays until your years of service are up. If you would like a lump sum of all that money at once then you can apply for that but you will lose your recall rights.

As you can see this is the WRONG place to ask legitimate questions. All these id–ts in their mommas basement don't know sh!t.

For each year you're with the company you earn a week of pay when you get laid off. Say you have 4 years and you get laid off then you are owed 4 weeks of pay. If you elect to receive that 4 weeks of pay in one lump sum, you forfeit that 4 years of seniority you gained while in the union. Meaning you won't get called back, you will have to apply like anyone else and start all over.

Selecting income continuation means you will get those 4 weeks of pay, payed out to you like normal paychecks every 2 weeks after you are laid off. As well as retain your 4 years of seniority so when Boeing decides to hire in your job code again, they will have to call you back 1st before hiring someone off the street.

Select imcome continuation.

If you take a lum sum distribution of severance you lose recall rights

If you take it as income continuation, you keep recall rights
