Reading through most of these posts can be seriously depressing and adversely impact our ability to enjoy life. Don't get stuck there because it gets in the way of enjoying your family and friends, and what you've contributed to our customers. Enjoy every day and don't let inept executives influence your happiness.

I was in ONE of the April rounds and in our lay-off "agreement", they list all the affected people by title and age (not name) and on our day alone, there were over 600 people listed. That's not counting the layoff 2 weeks before that and the one 2 weeks after that... not to mention Feb, March and May layoffs! There has easily been over 1000 "affected" RIF folks within the last 12 months- NOT 24 months. And we haven't even gotten to November yet. I'm not an Allscripts hater but as for this, a fact is a fact.
Apparently you associate hatred with speaking the truth. So, will you be smiling and praising da lawd when you get cut? Make sure you grab some moist towelettes to wipe the brown off your nose. And keep your prayers to yourself.
Not every AS associate is a hater. Likely limited to a narrow, loud group.
Can’t argue the fact a couple hundred associates let go in last 24 months and $5M reserved for more of the same in Q4. Pray for them in this difficult economy.
The writing is there. It no longer a hint to depart the org. It’s something you gotta do. Look while bringing in a paycheck. Not much worse than trying to find a new role with no paycheck in the middle of a pandemic.
