Wow.
It's my understanding that Mr. Heibert is an ambitous and driven man. He wanted to continue to be upwardly mobile, but he did not see a path up in Oxy in the forseeable future. He's simply moved on to bigger and better things.
There is only one way to save both OxyChem and Oxy Petroleum. Stay tuned.
If he left voluntarily he probably got nothing. He also probably was bought out of his Oxy comp.
Good for him! Sometimes things happen to good people. He will be missed.
@2ysp+17itLxSK keeping up with the party line. Nice.
I love coincidences too.
Still, nothing proven. When you have proof come back and tell us.
I should start by saying: not an employee.
Pretty sure they wont have to prove anything. It will be listed on exec compensation portion of the SEC filing.
Also, it is safe to say that departing execs normally have some sort of package. It is usually a part of their compensation or separation clauses. And just like poster said, it usually involves NDAs, Solicitation agreements or in some rare cases it involves defamation clauses.
(SOURCE: drafted many of these for clients in past)
@ittf
Prove that he got a package. Or, are you a liar who’s just making sh-t up?
So you retire and the next day start a new job ........ are you for friggin real? You have to LOXY as you are as dumb as a stump
It is possible that he actually retired and started working somewhere else after. So I don't think she necessarily lied.
VH is a lying b–ch ...... unbelievable she even try's to spin the top Oxychem guy leaving
She just has zero integrity and should hang her f—ing head in shame and just quit
I am so glad I am about retirement age. What you state below is true in that many people will need to change their ways and behaviors to fit into the new Corporate America. I went to one of the classes and I understand the reasoning, but it is like they are talking about something you can't really put your finger on. More of a theory that gets embedded into the back of your mind. This is all corporations reacting to the recent social uprisings and the people it will affect are us. Some of it is not bad, but most is already in practice. I feel like the main part of any review now is "not" based on the actual work you do. It s—s when politics make it into work places and schools, and it just seems to be the topic of the day.
It's worse than sick as that implies it could recover. Terminally ill is a better description and the management team do not have a clue how to fix it. A bad deal with the APC buyout compounded by bad luck. I shouldn't worry though as HR will save the day. You wait until they start rolling out the training for the behaviors element of the new PR program. D&I, Unconscious Bias, Micro Aggression, Discrimination and CRT. Y'all are going to wish you were living in China. Good luck.
This company is sick. Are we in some kind of cult here or is this Peoples Republic of China or what???? I'm trying my best to get outta here. Have a job interview next week wish me luck.
Don't forget the first convo she had with LAPC:
that tells you one more time we can’t trust VH! anyone keeping the score?: “we exited the year with best in class portfolio” (next, buy Anadarko). “we are moving to the energy corridor because we need an environment of cooperation” (building inspection failed, no move). “we are a partner of choice in Colombia” (sold assets). “our people are our best assets” (layoffs thereafter). “dividend is sacred” (cut dividend)...
What upsets me is it was sold to staff as a retirement when in Reality he’s leaving a sinking ship for greener pastures. To me, retiring means no longer working. He left for a better job when he could. (Jealous) What management just did is a spin on the truth. Nothing new.
With the state of this company promotions and raises should not be happening for anyone.
Could be in advance of a sale to the company he is going to.
So he retired voluntarily...wonder how many millions of $$ Oxy will be paying out to him In that should instead be used for long overdue promotions/raises for those people still busting their A** working non-stop crazy hours.
You know its bad even at the top when Execs are leaving.
Looks like he couldn't take anymore of the BS and bad management. Must be nice to have that kind of connection, they created a position just for him.
Congrats BJ! Good move!
