Another wasted Saturday in Malta AME while Engineering and Management enjoy their weekend. Instead here we are stuck in a continuous 12hr on 12 off loop of misery. It’s such a joke that even management and engineering isn’t required to be on site on weekends. They will stroll in Monday morning and attempt to clean up the mess they left on the previous Friday. The only people actually working are literally watching the clock right now praying that 6pm comes sooner. Team leads are in the cubicles watching YouTube videos and napping while lower level techs run around the floor clearing alarms. This is AME Malta. Bravo!

@2wiz plenty of people are seeing career growth to switch from L3/L4 tech to L4 engineer. They get a title and E-shift, and but their duties are something a technician can/should be doing. Win-win I guess?
I wonder if HR still plays d-mb when drawing up their offers by not structuring lost overtime into base salary.

It was proposed to cut back to 40 hour work weeks for hourly and have salary filter in the offsets. Be careful what you wish for many people rely on that OT.

Don’t work shift and don’t work in AME. You chose to work it. Blame yourself.
Sounds about right. I remember during onboarding when LG rattled off places she’d caught people sleeping and emphasized that sleeping on site would get you fired. Wasn’t here a month before I saw people staying awake long enough for passdown and then dozing until it was break time.
