I had heard Optum RIFs are coming 8/3 as well. The 8/3 (always on a Thursday) with last day of 8/17 falls in line with what UHG saw last week.
7/27 (Thursday) with a last day of 8/10.

It would be interesting to see a media outlet do a big picture look at the company staff changes over the last 12-18 months. How many layoffs and how many people for each of those rounds, how many people leave voluntarily/resign, how many retired, how many jobs created in/moved to India, Philippines, EMEA & Mexico; how many US FTE hires in 2023.
If you want media attention, hit up one of the local news feeds on Facebook or Insta in Minnesota. I’m sure they’d love to hear all about it.
We need media that will cover this layoff and shine light, seems there is no coverage of this big layoff. Not a single comment from the company and no accountability. Anyone has media connection?

Optum Consumer Office is reportedly being impacted this Thursday as well. No word of area specifics but multiple managers/directors know it's coming.
I heard this was impacting OI from a decent source.
