so, first week back in the office with everyone and I do have to say, it was much smoother. Didn't have to wait for someone to free up for a zoom meeting....we were there and things went smoother. Contrary to what is portrayed here, yes, you can do your job remote, no question about it...but can it be done better by being in the office for certain roles.
So glad I got out of that company. It’s getting to be embarrassing to say I even worked there.
The hall monitor comment is perfection. I was remote pre-pandemic. This policy is such an old sales dude mentality.
Reading this makes me so so so happy I asked to be laid off and got it back in September.
Sorry for all of you having to put up with these childish policies.
