Looks like the new anointed CTO is following proudly the steps of predecessors...
Again the same people directly below have managed to do what they did to the CTOs before. BS everyone... So ... trust the same people that brought us where we are.
Off course everyone blames the previous CTOs who alone were responsible for the disasters ... why do we hire f–ls at that level???

Software expert?
Anyone notice if that "software expert" left? Did they replace him with a new grad and a squeaky toy?
Uh oh..... I bet Austin wins. They have sunk 2 CTOs already and made PMO run away from trying to play with the big boys... can't even deliver in his c-appy deal
4 weeks and that CTO is gone. He will learn he better get to his corner and cash in -quietly
Ooh. Who is the alpha pile of trash?
You “boys” think you have that kind of power? Better brace yourself.
The Austin software crew will teach that new CTO that he better heel or find himself in a lay-off situation in a few weeks!
Must be one of those dev in Austin ...
We know software!

Why should we do anything if we can just crise along doing jack?
The best location is the software group, all the marketing people are disguised as engineers
Come on!
We can't do software... can't do hardware can't do marketing. It's the fault of Honeywell! It's been 2 years but they are responsible!!!!! We are just a bunch of directors that can't do jack ....but are paid handsomely while we moon the prez and his underlings
CTO is now rated 6 months.
Cant trust anyone ... they are all good from Moobs of the weirdo before... they have made sure they can get away with c-ap! Why cant we get rid of these people that keep staying on???
True dat!
hopefully Edgar comes back and teach the current klown some lessons in tech skills....
Some CTOs are lost quickly...got feed BS and is asking for more.... wait for a grand strategy advertised as the next best thing, or "everything is ok" ... a bit of trying to execute something, ....spin a bit of excuses....some paper victories... and oops time to leave after 6-10 months :)
Cashed stock, got some training... ready for a real job at a real company.
Patterns never change at rezi. Thats why so many good people left...
Bottom line after so many CTOs using rezi as a revolving door and causing lay-offs we are back at the same point .nothing wors except paper victories
Maybe we should look at why we keep spinning and blaming Honeywell for our failures. ... and well notice that the people causing the lay-off when the heat goes up scream to look at big evil Honeywell... more lay-offs to come as we can't change
Latest from rezi lay-off site: “The problem in Mville is bigger than one person. You have the old timers that have checked out and just send out the occasional powerpoint to let you know they are alive. You have the folks pretending to be leaders by finger pointing and sabotaging their own co-workers to cover up that they are incompetent. This has led to huge layoffs... and kore to come
Then you have the "workers", some of which have never put out a product in their life and their only guidance is from people that do nothing.
- I'd say the solution is to create a culture where you acknowledge and clean up your own mess, and stop the talker that just spin and spin
That's the ONLY way to avoid large lay-offs in November and December
: @2tuc+16GmpIvA,
That guru was backstabbed by people under HDG... I wonder who are the backstabbers?
Fleshligth any ideas?
Very you, so was a bit naive... prime for screwing... and he was going to be on the lay-off list
CTO is already in trouble this week ... he trusted the levels below HDG....and he is now starting to pay the price. He should last now less than 10 months. We can't get out of the mess because we keep the same people that have done zero for the last 2 years
Looks to me those numbers are first pass
I bet the numbers will go up and down depending on the sites in question . We still got a couple months to go, but planning is underway
Guys... you're mixing the Ferr-y philosopher and the martian land-o
And the less than several decades is not a flashligth... for sure
He's over 30, just mediocre for his age. Let him go and save some budget for the rest of the site.
@ jym+16GmpIvA, you don’t even know what you’re talking about. The person being referred to below has less than 10 years of HW experience and is not even several decades old. Stop talking please and go troll another site. You are the source of all fake news here.
Didn’t we just hire around 6 executives in the last few months? OP, can you justify how you get these precise numbers? For eg, 418 outside of America. This sounds like fake news.
CTO will be gone within 10 month or less. Wont take any risks, talk and talk like others before, have some "sucesses" but nothing of real substance.... some in key locations are already undermining him...and when in front...smile.... I am more concerned with the layoffs because we keep going in circles...
that software expert, has so many decades that he can actually quit now and get his full corp pension (not the cr-ppy Hon or rezi one)... but uses the same tactic than others before..... when comes time to deliver... threaten to quit... no documentation... corp taken hostage? you bet!
As for that CTO/VP, ask anyone at HON. (ATL or GV) ... can't make any hard decisions, talks tough, avoids real conflict, blames original CTO of the spin for all ills including why we got COVID, scared of rocking the boat ... probably here until another job opens meanwhile will milk it like everyone else... they all do. There is enough money to go on for a while
So sad nobody has courage... to stop the insanity
Sounds like one of the “software experts” running the ancient AlarmNet said he was leaving and Alice In Wonderland and SS are begging him to stay. Further proof that Herman and Lurch are empty skin suits with no ability to lead teams and the new CTO/VP has taken over a mess.
