I am guessing you are the !diot commenting in all the posts how nothing is the fault of Model E... and you are right (sort of). Lightning/Mach-e, Sync, were not developed by Model E. The reason being that Model E hasn't developed ANYTHING at all. Period!
We are still waiting, after so many tears, for something done by Model E, besides being a financial loss on FMC. Come on! Tell us one thing made by Model E, I dare you, LOL. I'll wait forever for your answer like FMC is waiting for BEVs second generation from Model E, LOL.

I got news for Jimmy. The % of recalls related to SYNC are in the single digits.

Who is deciding on less ports, processor speed, memory? I assume it is your finance person.
I have similar issues in other areas. We say we want x to run properly. We then have to run it by the LL4 finance person who knows nothing about technology (but thinks otherwise).
I work in SYNC and I can tell you that we are beyond frustrated that we specify the hardware we need to run software properly and we always get given less, whether it is processor speed, ports, memory, etc. we ship with the software barely working and at the limit, then get told to add more stuff for the next MY but no more space so we make up compromises in software. Our management is as much to blame, we have one leader who wants everything to be controlled by the SYNc module, why? Because this is how he will grow his team and be the most important guy around. He is a fool, he is just creating a bigger problem.
