My investigation revealed that it will be a good idea for Juniper to Merge with Arista.
Contrail, Mist, and Appformix features will be ported to Arista. Excellent features of EOS can be leveraged in JunOS. If not, QFX can be replaced with Arista and MX/SRX will be with JunOS.
Arista to pay 1 share for 8-10 share Juniper shares. This merger will create a great opportunity and a major threat to Cisco. This will be a 1+1=3 equation and together can become a $100B company.
You need to deduplicate the products, OS everything and complement where ever there is Synergey.
Throw away QFX, move MX to EOS and acquire Contrail and Mist,
Product duplications / competing OS. ...
This acquisition would make no strategical / technological sense.

Because they don't have routing. Also, contrail, mist and security portfolio will be added to Arista.
Why would Arista want to merge with Juniper? It would just bring toxic management into Arista which would be a net negative for them.
You have better chance selling to google for the land.
