Don't love big things. They don't love you back. Leave if you don't feel appreciated or rewarded enough.
Oracle is not worth it.
No company is worth it. Yes, deliver what is expected of you. If you are expected to deliver X, deliver X, do not deliver 10X. Gold plating will just set unreasonable expectations and possibly ruin your health for a few extra dollars. In fact, if you consistently deliver X on time on budget every time, you will automatically put yourself into the 20% of the 80/20 rule. Yes, the bar is set that low and yes you can meet it without working yourself to death. Again, produce and make your time at work valuable, but don't work yourself sick.
Listen, if you dropped dead tomorrow, in a year you'd be largely forgotten. I know it sounds harsh, but that is life. Life moves on with or without you. So why don't you stick around for your family with good health and a longer life doing good work that most can't or won't do?
I pity anyone who continues to keep themselves strapped to the side of the Oracle Titanic. Give it enough time and you'll get dumped to the curb, along with many others. Oracle RIFs are not going away anytime soon.
I left Oracle several years ago, and it was the best career decision I ever made. Making a ton more money, and most importantly, I am respected and provided promotions and raises by management.
Aren't you all tired of having to worry about RIFs like what often happens every June at Oracle? There's a much better world out there for you, so do yourselves a favor and find a company that will value you and pay you what you deserve. Oracle is not worth it.
You need to get out of Oracle. It’s as simple as that. If you know what you are doing be aware that those you work with can be taking credit for what you do and you would not know it was going on.
Makes sense since the avg sales rep tenure at Oracle is 18 months, and avg tenure overall is 23 months.

There will be no raises no matter how hard you work. This is the Oracle way.
They will hire someone who knows far less than you for the same salary you are wanting and leaving for, it doesn’t matter that it takes the new hire 2 years to get up to your speed. . This is the Oracle way.

Exactly. Given such a top talent and high performer as the OP, there's no way Oracle will let that go unrewarded.
Self evaluation: I kinda suck, largely due to extreme lack of motivation.
Manager evaluation: You're right, but you are a warm body with half a brain. If you were smarter you would have already left, but you are certainly better than what we could replace you with at your meager wage.

You are not alone. This is very typical. The solution? Go find something else to do. You owe them nothing but a day's work for a day's pay and when that day's pay no longer matches the day's work it is time to move on. Don't take it personally. To O, you are all equally worthless, interchangeable and replaceable, I'm retired now but I would never go back. NEVER. I wouldn't even relieve myself if O was on fire.

Dude this is best place to be in. You are making more money than the once with the higher titles. Those guys are victims. Not you.
Best way to get a raise at Oracle is to establish a good reputation, do good work, leave, then come back as a re-hire. Works every time.
Irrespective of how good you perform, once you are in this ship, you are stuck. No promotion, no salary hike. Heard few cases where nothing received even after 10 yrs of consistent 4 ratings. No value for emp perf appraisals or opinions.
I’ve been a top performer for 8+ years, no promotion. Move on if unhappy.
Mistake #1 - You thought Oracle yearly evaluations are meaningful.
Mistake #2 - You thought somehow evaluations were tied to compensation.
Mistake #3 - You thought being at Oracle for 2.5 years is warranted in some way for something.
Mistake #4 - You thought Oracle gives promotions.
Mistake #5 - You thought promotions also are tied to financial perks.
Mistake #6 - You either have not read through here to know better.
