The company put out a notice that employee data was not compromised. 88sears is still down and wfm is unavailable. We can clock in and out, but no one can see it. We have to write down our punches and HR has to key it in at end of the week. (Last week so far). I'm hoping it will be back up by end of the week.
@2loc+18fa2EIe 88sears.com does not have employee data. It has links to associate systems that has employee data. Even if hacker took down the 88sears it only affected the hr documents, most are generic documents. I heard they laid off all HR IT people in the states and kept only the India team.

It was 88sears so employee data. That concerns me because I worked there. And you know the both site and record-keeping are disasters anyway.
Notice Sears and Kmart getting hacked wasn't even in the news. Not even worth the mention.!
Eddie should of invested his money in bitcoins instead of this money pit of a company he ruined. If he invested that same billions in bitcoins he would have been richer than Jeff Bezos
Eddie's not going to want to pay ransom, just like he didn't in 2003.
But he's not going to be happy when he learns what the cleanup and lockdown entails. He thought that IT was just an annoyance to be minimized at this point.
At this point, Eddie must be having an absolute snit-fit, looking for who to blame.
Always unsettling to hear, but it's not like Sears/Mart is a major retailer anymore. They barely have enough stores to be considered a "regional" retailer.
I would be concerned if I bought those slippers with a credit card...
