Reporting teammate for illegal dr-g use

Handbook says use of any and all illegal controlled substances will not be tolerated, even when not at work. Policy states dr-g tests will be administered if there is suspicion of illegal dr-g use.

Anyone ever reported someone to HR if say you don’t like them and know they use an illegal substance such as mari--ana?

Throwing out the “boomer” label gets so tiresome. Come to a place of intelligence if you can

Come on. It's the only way to get through the day at this bank, yet alone the Atlanta commute.

If it isn’t affecting their job, mind your own business. What you are really upset about is that you don’t like them. THAT is YOUR problem. I heard a saying this week that I love: “build a bridge and get over it!”

I would rather help someone get you fired than help you with anything.

“Legal would agree”. Wrong. Considering every state you mentioned has a form of medical authorization, the answer is “it depends, but unlikely”. The fact you spoke with such certainty shows how little you understand the law

I have not shown up hung over to work in over 20 years pal. I enjoy a good nights sleep and being able to think clearly the next day.

It's 2024…people are dropping dead from fentanyl and opi--ds and you're fretting to get someone fired over something legal in half the country because you don’t like them? Talk about a petty concern... Get a grip

Incorrect @cum+1rijVv5F, Delta 9 is indeed legal in NC.

Sounds like your are the problem and not them, what someone does in the privacy of their own home is up to them, whether you agree to it or not. If you want to ruin their life because you don't like someone, that's pretty messed up.

If it's actually affecting their performance at work or creating a hostile work environment, that's one thing. Any choices regardless of that outside of work is up to them and honestly it's morally corrupt for you to use a life choice you disagree with against them for your own gain.

You are a genuinely terrible person for attempting to have someone fired because you do not like them or what they do outside of work.

Delta 9 THC is a federally illegal controlled substance and is also illegal in states such as Georgia and North Carolina where Truist is located.

HR and Legal would agree that a teammate could be terminated for using this substance.

Mari--ana isn't illegal everywhere, and THC-A is legal most places and test the same in the blood. The company isn't going to do sh!t if you narc, narc.
