Best by far. I worked petrochemical, heating and ventilation, and finally at Boeing- spending over 30 years in the Puget Sound area as a structural engineer. The vast majority are hard working, resourceful, honest, and dependable. It is true that management is oftentimes ill informed and out of touch, One needs to judge based on the whole and not on the outliers.

Boeing is not laying off people in Washington state because they are a member of the union. That’s just the cover story they’re using.

The reason they are laying off most of the employees from Washington state is because they have worked for the company the longest and have the highest pay. It’s age and wage discrimination. They claim it is because of the union to try and prevent an age discrimination lawsuit.

Boeing has been sued at least three different times for age discrimination. If one of those lawsuits had not not been thrown out you would see a different make up of the layoffs.

Now it’s mostly people over age 40 and white men. They do discriminate on the basis of race but they discriminate against white men. You would have to be blind not to see that it is true.

I have worked in several industries. Auto, Aerospace, Construction and more.

I worked for a while at Boeing in Washington. That was by far the worst place. Management is bad in every industry so that is the same everywhere.

I have never worked with a bunch of more self serving, entitled, the world revolves around me people as I did with the union at Boeing. Not even the UAW in Michigan compares. The Boeing union is lazy and makes way more than they should, and they complain non-stop. Think of a 2nd grade class full of celebrity kids and how entitled they might be. Thats working on the floor at Boeing in a nutshell.

I have been a union supporter since before I could work. My dad was union in Detroit, my grandfather was union at the east coast shipyards. But I can understand why Boeing wants out of Washington. I dont know how it is at other Boeing factory sites, but this place made me not want to work at any Boeing site.

Never again.

Boeing has laid off more employees in the last 10 years than any other company in the United States.

Anybody who says Boeing is one of the best companies to work for is either lying or ignorant.

Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) in connection with a criminal information CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) –
Boeing has agreed to pay more than $2.5 billion in connection to conspiracy
in defrauding the FAA related to the evaluation of the company’s
737 MAX deathtrap according to officials with the United States
Department of Justice.

Government officials said Boeing entered into a deferred prosecution
agreement on Thursday in the Northern District of Texas and was charged
with one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States.
in lieu of the greater charge of Mu---r in the second degree
{Depraved Indifference Mսrder} Penal Law § 125.25 (2)
And conspiracy to commit mսrder
To constitute depraved indifference, the defendant's conduct must be
'so wanton, so deficient in a moral sense of concern, so lacking in regard
for the life or lives of others, and so blameworthy as to warrant the same
criminal liability as that which the law imposes upon a person who intentionally
causes a crime.

According to the Justice Department, Boeing concealed information from
the FAA on the operation of the 737 Max deathtrap and attempted to
cover up the deception. The government states that Boeing deceived FAA
evaluators of the 737 regarding a part of the aircraft which they say was
essential and which pilots should have had information on.
And in so doing Boeing actively and deliberately defrauded all of its customers.

The 737 was grounded in early 2019 after the fatal crashes of Lion Air
Flight 610 and Ethiopian Airlines 302 following the mսrder of 346 passengers.

Best for sure!
Majority of Boeing employees actually love the company and feel extreme pride working here. Too bad local trolls won't ever experience that...

https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2021/08/04/boeing-starliner-valve-relaunch/

Boeing, NASA silent on what’s wrong with Starliner:
NASA and Boeing officials remained largely silent Wednesday about what the
likely next steps are for Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft, a day after a much-anticipated
test flight was scrubbed because a sensor indicated a valve on the vehicle wasn’t
in the proper position.

The spacecraft remained on its launch pad in Florida throughout the day
amid speculation from engineers and others familiar with the spacecraft
that it would need to be moved and perhaps disassembled to determine
what went wrong. A new launch date, they speculated, could be weeks away.
While another team of engineers scoured home depot for a suitable replacement.
