I can’t stand this. The people they’ve laid off were doing their share of work. They kept the freeloaders and just enough of us who are also doing our share of the work, and who now have to do our share and the laid off employees share. But freeloaders can continue to suck up and avoid doing any work. A third of my team can’t have more than 10 hours a week of actual work. They suck up and compliment the boss and never do any healthy challenge and get paid for a full time job. They laid off a third of the team and the rest of us they didn’t lay off are now doing all that work, plus ours plus the work the freeloaders are supposed to do. JUST GIVE ME THE SEVERANCE ALREADY

SAME!
I’m a bank employee, I’ll gladly take a year’s pay of severance then go work at another financial institution here in town.
A headhunter called me mid-May and shared that the word is already widespread in the market. Having USAA on the resume is now a negative!
Isnt there supposed to be a layoff this week?
They laid me off, and I hate to say it but if I had to make hiring decisions at my new firm and candidate A was from USAA and candidate B a reputable FI, I would probably take candidate B. Its nothing personal its really just the leadership at USAA creating a negative association for the company and its employees. If i still worked there i would ask myself if the decisions that senior leadership are making are going to be detrimental to my career in the future and if its really worth staying.
Id go in a heartbeat
Happened to me. They laid off the ones with all the know how. You know, the older and more expensive ones who wont play the game. Now we have no one to ask about how to solve problems, because our EMG is clueless.
Yes, yes, yes. PICK ME! PICK ME!
