no one cares about the 777X
A lot of people that got laid off for this 777x program aint coming back for recalls turnover rate is going to be bad. Boeing will end up re hiring people off the streets waste of money and training.

@4bk there is no direct crossover for the 777... especially the X with the wings. So they would have to pick a totally different class of aircraft to go to Airbus smart guy. Why don’t you move to France and get a job at Airbus? You wouldn’t qualify as a janitor for Airbus lol

Emirates CEO was spot on with his criticism of Boeing leadership. The only thing Boeing was focused on was stock buybacks to increase bonuses for the CEO and board. That’s why you end up with an airplane like the 737 max with so many problems.
Instead of spending that money on stock buybacks and spend it on product development none of these issues would’ve happened.

The first batch 787's built could not be sold and were later donated. The first several Tankers built are undeliverable yet they sit on the books as inventory. All of the recent 737's are flawed in basic design and cannot be controlled without computer assistance. What company in their right mind would want to be the launch customer for a "redesigned" Boeing airplane?
I hope Boeing gets it right.

I agree with the comments but I also think that he is aware of the fact that Boeing leadership is clueless and full of BS.
In ME politics/economics, nothing is what it seems to be. You gotta look deeper, they like to hustle and bargain, they look for 'incentives' to make things happen
Their excuse to avoid penalties for an order cancelation.
