Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Cut 20,000 and pay CEO & HR $100M

The Board approves paying the Commandant $73M, the head of HR $13.5M, the GC $13.5 M and the CFO $9M all while cutting 20,000 jobs last year and those that are left doing two or more jobs. Congratulations to them on their COMBINED ten years of service. I got a popcorn maker for my 10th anniversary.

@2gcm+1ayZohcx D Rates might as well start calling themselves the D+T Rates. Not because they will be a combined hourly rate after all the T Rates get laid off but because they will have a combined performance expectation put on them after all the T Rates are let go. They will be the only person on a 2 or maybe even 3 man team. At least they'll finally be able to say "Us D Rates did it all" Not that anybody will be standing around to hear them say that.

2mhd+1ayZohcx- but you still work here hoping and thinking for a bigger rate than t rate. Those d rates will sell you out before they get laid off

Head of hr isn’t worth 13.5 cents. An arrogant blo–w hard who likes to hear himself speak. No representative of the people just a mgt hack.

This is a great company my ego has inflated while my wage has not. The union is in the companies pocketbook. Soon it will back fire on the union and more jobs will be lost along with 60 plus years of the Reap union fighting for everything the contract holds and use to hold.

This is the problem with this company and many other companies in today's world. We focus on our tiny homes, couponing, and minimal health care while these greedy self centered individuals are sucking the pension coffers dry while saying the company needs to save money. Look out for yourselves because no one else will.

That's what happens when you build 2 plants in Mexico. They didn't cut jobs they are just using this pandemic to shift the work elsewhere.
