Avaya to be reduced to 4000 employees; India to be affected the most with 400 headcount reductions in R&D, and 1100 from CRO organization. This is planned to happen before end of FY24.

Let me tell you, I find this utterly unbelievable. When I left, the focus was on streamlining personnel in other areas, while South America and Eastern nations were seen as growth markets. The domestic market remained a key area of attention. Reductions would be also coming from previously untouchable countries in EMEA.
