Like the tittle says! It doesn’t matter how many derailments happen! You can’t haul the nasty sh-t on the roads. This country has to have the railroad unfortunately. Yeah I’m Bias bc I’m one of the many Carmen that got thrown out on the street bc of precision railroading. Hope you boys make it out alright but NS is the sorriest company to work for in America. Yea Thats a great idea. They are so fast to write up hard working employees, They shoud put some top level people on the street and fire a whole bunch more,
So I wonder if management will take a page from their own book that every accident is preventable? Examine all the changes they made to see if they were the cause? Have a hearing with themselves? Put themselves on the street? Fire themselves? Make rules that never allow this to happen again? Write themselves up if they violate them? Of course not, I’m not stupid. But man if they believe all that fixes everything. They should practice what they preach.

I am so sorry to see all the Carmen , Signal , diesel mechanics , electricians , etc , fired. Because of psr cost cuts. It brought a lot of stress on all those still working at rr. They did the same thing at UPrr and BNSF.
