@2f9v they were and are rats for sure. All a bunch of clueless, nepotistic so many adjectives I could use but why bother. Hope it totally goes down in flames not sure how they are still holding on.

They lost the contract with altice for fiber to the home project, which brought in 75% of their work. They had no back up plan and they solely relied on Altice for cash flow. After Altice's co-founder was arrested for corruption all s--t hit the fan. Excell got desperate and started making moves that didn't work out at all. They bought a great company called Telecable who had a contract with Comcast. Excell ruined that company too and layed off the previous owners. Excell has another contract with Brightspeed of Virginia and the basic work they have to do for them, they are messing that up too. Brightspeed is currently trying to end the contract and Excell will be left with nothing forcing them to close the doors. They had over 2000 employees and I think they have 20-30 including the cleaning crew. If any company is thinking about doing business with Excell don't because they don't have the man power and they lie their way thru everything. The current administration is trying to finish whatever current projects they have and then cut their loses. Just look at their LinkedIn posts they have nothing new to report.
Excell communications is done. They layed off so many employees and they are not making any money. I'm surprised they can keep the lights on. I hope the regular employees there lands on their feet. That company had promise and now it's a big joke. Thats what happen when you hire relatives with no experience. Helder Pereira, Antonio Antunes, Alexis Munoz, and Fabio Faria all ran that place to he-l. At least, Helder and Alexis jumped off the boat like the rats they are.
Cutting vendors and employees. I guess DM and PD will be in the field building fiber and running Trouble Calls.
