Thread regarding Pearson PLC layoffs

Yesterday was fun being insulted and talked down to by Onecrm and Tableau goons justifying their lousy functionality. Handing out stickers like we're in kindergarten. Just a great use of our time.

It’s the last day...will someone tell me when all of this invigoration is supposed to happen?
So far all we have done is learning stations on technology & product that everyone should know by now.
I pray that I did not miss the invigoration!!!

Can't wait for the sales meeting! Certifications for the third year in a row! Nothing better for moral than having to demo over and over year after year on the same outdated products. Then have to listen to management tell us how we are winning market share, need to move faster, and embrace change. Is anyone believing this c-ap anymore? We are getting our a-- handed to us and this company has never moved fast. Our change is more like musical chairs while we piss off and lose customers with every change we make.

I’d be more invigorated with the thought of an out of network colonoscopy than going to this clown show of a meeting.

The NSM will usher in a new generation of successes for Pearson. Our leaders have created an unbelievable schedule of rewarding sessions. I can't wait. The health and wellness events that are scheduled will invigorate and challenge you. And the impressive sessions by pre sales and services teams will motivate you to sell more digital products than you thought possible. Your minds and bodies will be absolutely invigorated. About a week to go....and I am dreading the thought of heading to the airport for this stupid meeting.

When are the dates for the NSM and where can I find video of the sessions to see how dejected and unmotivated the sales force will be?

I SO badly wanted to book my flight out the last night and skip the Follies.

Yes, I’d rather not head home to my family but rather stick around to have a good laugh at the expense of all of KC’s terrible decisions since his arrival.

SO. STUPID.

There are still Follies- new host. But they also have a free night with nothing planned before the night of the Follies so they can keep folks around longer than needed and pay for an extra night of hotels and meals for everyone. I wonder how many salaries could have been saved with all the $ they are dropping on that!

Would have taken severance over this job 100 times out of 100. #truth

I know just what to do! Let's bring our remaining employees to the desert in the middle of the

f*-#"(+ summer! Really make them sweat. Drown them in alcohol and force feed them terrible hotel food, all while smiling and crying our crocodile tears. (taps fingers together a la Mr. Burns) Excellent...We'll even approve a budget of $60 for the Phollies. This can all be done virtually in like two days. But let's put them in the hot box for 5 days straight! Lousy customers can wait! AND, we can drop a few million dollars in the process. It's a brilliant plan!!!!
