Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

What Do You Think is the Best Department at Truist? Or as Close to the Best?

I keep hearing about how horrible this company is and that the mortgage department is different not it but is anyone on here actually happy or in a way content with their jobs? I work in fraud and so far love it. Yeah the four day work week is going to ki-l me but other than that, I love my job. My co workers are great and my boss is caring and nice. I feel safe and also happy about my pay. I do plan to move up in fraud in a year or so but again, I am happy. What do you think is the best departure in Truist? What do you like about your job? And has any one checked on the mortgage department? I am worried for them. Lol

The Ucks department, or UX is the most awesomest.

@2crk+1sFcSH0w I can't see either of those companies taking auditable roles. Anything that isn't that on the network and ops side is potentially vulnerable though.

IT is a good place to hide and get paid to do nothing but follow pointless procedures.

This is good news for Accenture and Cisco.

GCO is the best. Joe Thompson is one of the few competent senior executives we have.

No one is happy. The employee surveys are a joke. “It’s our fault if we don’t connect with the leadership team”.

I’m in a branch. Our motto for the year by leadership is “do more with less”. Take that for what you will. The incentive program is a joke now too. It’s more designed to keep you from earning an incentive than rewarding you for doing well

Those employees surveys are a joke. When I was in the branch level, I was told those were optional. I wasn’t going to do it personally. Then my boss started hounding me down telling me they would get in trouble if I don’t do it. I did the survey because I like my boss BUT did not it sit well with me doing something against my world, even though it clearly said in the email it was an optional survey.

Maybe an employee survey would help answer this question!
