In most things, this company is stuck in the past. I wonder why that is? Is the reason that there is no vision? Is the reason that the leadership considers changes for the better too risky?

Totally agree with NewDay. It’s a deep sentiment of “you’re lucky to work here”. Not going to work in areas with other business opportunities. They’ve got to keep up with inflation and realize how low the salaries are compared to other companies as well.
Easy answer. They are stuck with the East mentality of “where else you going to go?” They will never realize that mentality doesn’t work in the west where MPC isn’t the only game I town. Until they stop being arrogant and treating their customers and EMPLOYEES like dirt, nothing will change. It was a new day when the acquired Andeavor but their old arrogant mentality keeps them from realizing it. #Sad
