jody davids recently utterly broke the helpdesk. after firing evey local contractor, she outsourced overseas and in mexico. the problem isnt the language barrier, it is that they arnt techs.

the best part is, that the contract pepsico made with tata has no penalties for missing sla. so now tata is spewing tickets across all the blts with no troubleshooting. so now pepsico is paying tata to do worse than nothing.

if you are a pepsi user i pitty you. i get to see it every day now. it is a most glorius disaster.

PepsiCo has always fired people AKA Layoffs. In the 25 years I was there it was great company because of the people not the management. I experienced 22 large layoffs in my 25 years. Always laying off people after 20 to 25 years except upper management. I have a list of about 240 people I directly worked and keep in touch with that worked at Purchase that were all excellent employees that all were LAYED OFF only for management to have Christmas parties at executive houses that night of the layoffs and spending millions on landscaping. Glad to see Indra go . . . . maybe new CEO will value his people.

Meeting June 6th: All PepsiCo IT employees are invited to join Jody Davids, our Global Chief Information Officer, and other members of the IT Executive Committee for a global IT town hall on June 6, 2018.

This event is for IT employees only. Please do not forward this invitation or share details of the webcast outside of IT or with contractors. If you are a cognizant employee and have not been rebadged to TATA you will be let go. IT.. WE are next. Remember 2 things. 1. In every meeting it is stated Pepsico is not a IT company. 2. Current direction - IT as a service. It is only a matter of time.

The 70 Rule was heavily utilized during the Feb 2018 layoffs. Any bets on how many will be eliminated in the next round?

PepsiCo Management lie to their employees, They rant on...oh we are performing a great job, OUR PEOPLE is the HEART of our Company, then the shoot you in the HEART and fire you.

To give you some idea of the performance increases for those that were not impacted by the layoffs - I can tell you that my wife received a larger percentage increase from social security. Party time!!!

I just saw the merit increase scale. They changed it at the last minute to ranges. Don’t expect your pay increase to be at the top of the scale. I bet this will be another record year for Indra’s earnings. Low life. FIRE INDRA!!!

And for those that remain the performance increase is the lowest ever! What a joke and insult especially given the huge tax break the company received

I will actively look for a new job outside

No incentive from this point on...,

It was handled as badly as possible - reached a new low.

Definitely time for a new CEO

Why is it ok for senior management to still take their bonuses while firing 1000 employees. Seems to me they’re not making money by developing new brands or coming up with any creative thinking they’re actually making money by illuminating jobs. so I hope the board and 4/3 are happy but you are really indecent greedy repugnant people. I saw a post that said get young blood. It may be time for a new CEO but getting rid of the old blood actually removes the last of the most loyal crowd. We never even wore red out if respect for Pepsi. Pay harmonization destroyed most loyalty to PEPSICO. I know I stopped insisting that family members but PEPSICO products. Very sad day for what was once a great company. Roger Enrico’s generosity and kindness to the people who are actually doing the work left with him when he left. Just not the same company

It's sad that years ago this used to be a good company to work for. They will spend millions on Super Bowl ads and bonuses and then lay a bunch of people off. Maybe it's time for a new CEO.

Guess it was true - they do this annually .... it is repulsive! Most of the people let go dedicated over 2 decades to that company. Guess that does not matter as long as the corporate elite pad their bonuses and salaries! So disgusting! Worked there 20 years.....I left a few years back, could not stand what it has become! They forced my direct report to retire and the replacement had no business in that position! Another waste of salary! However, that deadwood is still allowed to keep its job! PS how is it that a Director, VP and SR Director are allowed to work from home - like 4 or 5 days out of the week? It makes Apple sweat shops look like Club med! Everyone there is miserable the only ones who stay, are older because they are too close to retirement to walk out.....some of those people are unfortunately the ones affected! The millennials, well, no offense but they leave quicker than I change my underwear ( and that is quite often for real ). The company has been dragging for some time now, and the leadership has to change....everyone of them! They sit in their ivory tower barking orders and they make bucko bucks while the middle and line workers struggle to make ends meet! The fact that most of the talent left that company should speak volumes........Mike White should have been the CEO - not Indra! She surrounds herself with incompetence and well - spewing about making a Dorito specific to women - well need we say more! Change the formula - meaning change the leadership and things will change!

I got my mandatory mtg email during the forum so it was hard to listen to the lies Indra kept spewing out.

Don’t read too much into the outplacement service. They are not headhunters. They help with resume polishing and interview prep. They don’t find new jobs for you though.

I quit PepsiCo a year ago after 30 years with the company. I was PBC prior to PEP taking them over again. The last 3 years were the worst I had ever seen in my 30 years there. People that used to love their jobs now hate them. When I gave notice I did not even get a call from HR to ask why I was leaving, they simply emailed me a list of things to do in order to separate from the company (Things like turn in your laptop, your Amex card, etc). To the higher up's it's all about themselves and shareholders. They don't care one bit about the employees. I would never recommend to anyone to apply for work at PepsiCo.

They give you 2 weeks per year and continue your bi-weekly paycheck for that length of time along with health insurance. They will also give you over to a headhunter for one year and help you with a resume service. They do not dump you by the side of the road.

Yes, once the 2017 Forum was completed, folks were laid off. PepsiCo hasn't learned how to do it with dignity - other companies do the same thing, but the ones I know of give their folks time to find another job, or take the package they are offered. At PepsiCo, you are called in, no one ever sees you again at Pepsi, you are escorted out.

Congrats Pepsi! This is what you have done to your workers!

-Pulling ads off YouTube, you pissed off the biggest YouTubers w/60M viewers, causing them to trash you, causing their followers to BAN YOU.

  • Political Jenner ad was cringeworthy. FIRE whoever was in charge of creating it and then fire whomever allowed it!

  • Changing the taste. FAIL!

  • PEPSI 1863 bar mixers that look like Guiness cans?? Are you stupid? Keep dumping your money into DUMB DECISIONS you idiots! Every mixer video has more dislikes than likes!

Get your 1950s asses in gear and get young blood in there to save your brand from all your f-ups! All these people who are afraid of losing their jobs are suffering because of the IDIOTS in marketing who are making these disastrous decisions! You should all go on strike!

Not just B2+’s. B1’s very much in play too. Unfortunately the PepsiCo C-suite is safe. In fact, our pounds of flesh will get Indra a fat bonus and even more stock shares to boast about

It is evident that something is coming up in the next 1 or 2 weeks (Feb 2nd week most likely). All corridor talks are about restructuring at senior levels. Pepsi Co off late, has become a top heavy company with too many B2+ population, who pocket almost 5-8 times more compensation than those who actually work (Level 9-11). it is bound to happen...lets wait and watch.

Other companies giving bonuses we losing people. Trust that senior level will keep perks while the workers get screwed. We made it through the normal November December exits so no surprise it's happening now and next few months

PepsiCo has undertaken a historic productivity push the last 5 years and what do those making the savings possible get? Laid off. Billions in non-job cost reductions.

What will PepsiCo spend all the reduction in corporate tax rate dollars on???

I’m hearing cuts will happen in Q1’18. They wanted to do it in Nov ‘17 but there were a lot of executive leadership shuffling and all those VP’s needed to have input into their teams. So things got pushed back into ‘18.

70 rule applies and maybe under 3. All speculation at this point.
