Anyone calculate how much the company has been saving the last 2 quarters because all these executives have stopped traveling? There are many - who, in addition to being pure, unproductive, overhead - simply spent all their time jet-setting.
I kid you not - many of them spent several multiples of $100K each year on travel. Some possibly spent close to $1 million. The only “positive” from all this? Lifetime 1K on United, lifetime Titanium on Marriott, Hilton, etc. some of them would boast about their status in these programs. The company got nothing out of this.
I would think all this saved expense will go straight to the bottom line.
No one ever questioned all this wasted $$$$. It’s probably in the billions over the years.
