Meta is just a message board. With a few p-o side projects. Doesn’t take 80k people. When people are getting exited the dogs will fight over the little scraps of actual work to prove worth.
Meta is the worst place to work in trying times. There is no camaraderie, everyone bites everyone and do evil things behind their back.
Stand behind your ideas and present them to your manager and your chain of command. Management is constantly seeking intelligent and enthusiastic employees that generate novel ideas for products and improvement. Take initiative and push those ideas forward, into the limelight. Your successes will build name recognition and your management will award you for your efforts.
Su-k up to your manager. Take credit for other people's work. Treat your job like the show Survivor. Exploits others.
