Thread regarding Gartner Inc. layoffs

The public and clients should know.

Companies and the public should know that Gartner is getting rid of good talent. After all, clients are paying top dollar for Gartner. If anyone has friends or connections with the media, let them know. Its particularly newsworthy if, as a firm, Gartner tells its clients not to let people go, yet does it themselves. Some would say its pretty hypocritical.

@25p The people who were impacted can't speak on it, as severance contracts required we not speak negatively about the company publicly.

Don’t be afraid to reach out to a news tip line yourself, whether it’s WSJ, NYT, CNN, and CNBC or the local Dallas/Ft Meyer papers and stations. You were impacted and can speak directly to the issue you’re seeing

Reminds me of the Fleisher days when he hired and fired based on quarterly results. Is Gene finally running out of headroom for growth? I’ve been out of the company for a couple of years but it does seem it’s not “a great time to be at Gartner anymore”.
Should I sell the stock or will I see a return to pre Trump prices?

seems to be layoffs / org change announcements almost every Monday. defies all their research on how NOT to do layoffs. instead, it's creating a culture of fear and control, which seems to be the goal as a means to leaner, more profitable.
