I heard some rumors that those who are involuntary are considered ineligible for rehire or internal transfer. Any truth in this ?

Don't rejoin the place wretched place called Intel. If they mark you "don't hire" as ISP, say you are going higher in a different place.
Yes happens all the time
Do you think companies are mad enough to take one manager feedback as granted and block you. Then u shall be sure not to go back there !
ISP is selected by managers. I heard that they have to give a reason either performance or role elimination. If it's performance then HR will mark you as do not hire.
Eligible for rehire
Why would you want to come back to miserable place? To relive the torture all over again? Is really no one hiring Intel people and it’s so bad you want TO GO BACK to a confirmed horrible situation?? Or are you just a gluten for punishment? A masochist ?
This only really makes sense if you are super desperate and really the ban on hiring former Intel employees is real.
Its true. If your ISP was based on performance you will not be able to return. If ISP was based on company need, you will be able to return.
I am not sure how long the rehiring is going to be an issue. If people letting go for the wrong reason, to exclude them coming back is to repeat the mistake one more time. Open and fair selection process is the only thing that can be banked on.
Not true , rehire eligible (if mad enough to come back) …. It’s role illimination , not getting fired.
People are being offered transfer to NM from OR.... but select few
That can't be. Many countries have laws that require you to rehire those people if they agree. So when they start hiring again, they have to contact you first. But this can be different in the USA.
Why would you want to even consider rejoining a company that let you go ? Do you not have skills enough to join anywhere else?
If they were chosen for ISP they were chosen for a reason.
