Keeping layoffs aside, judging by the hatred (envy) for those who work in Qualcomm San Diego and have made it, it probably means its an attractive place to work. Where I work, whoever manages to escape elsewhere cares little about the people still there.

Now is not the time to buy a house. Wait for 6 to 12 months
Where do you live now?
Which areas best schools if house budget around 1.5m?
@1zsl strongly recommend it. But do it hush hush, otherwise some people on this website will be 'very very angry' (envious)
I want to move from BA to SD.
In TBS all the fats from director and above are still there. They let go all the hard working engineers and shamelessly said that they will hire the slack in India.
I'm sure many are happy in their new jobs. But for those who had to leave SD and move to BA, are miserable and have a desperate need to force others believe in their new found 'happiness', get a life! Oh wait, SD offers it. Oh well.
This place is toxic, the good employees are let go, and the bad ones are still here. Not all are bad or good but the bad ones make a very bad toxic place to work.
This is an HR post
If they are happily enjoying their new jobs then that can't be PTSD
Yeah OP does have a point. For some reason Q does have a weird quality where the ex employees still lurk around sites like these several years after they are gone. Either its a case of serious PTSD or they miss the old days.
LMAO. Wrong conclusion my friend.
