They Got an Tentative agreement for pay raises! Good win for the local 201. Will the 301 in Schenectady Power have the same luck? Doubt it! I see layoffs coming fast

We in 273 want a big raise this year $8 to close the gap! With a 4 year contract! With a pension and free healthcare. Can the 301 make it happen is the question that needs to be answered? Does the 301 have the grapefruits to strike? Probley NOT!
2 completely different worlds in reality. The wages in MA bs NY can not even be compared. Add to that, the local agreements made contract after contract are what have screwed most union workers in Schenectady.
I think the agreement was to shorten the number of years market based wages are to be paid for new employees and it raised the wage cap. I don’t work there, but I believe that’s the case.
