Keep in mind that pre-layoff there are 40K Boeing employees internationally (non-US).
So, ~4K of the 17K target will hit international.

So far 2000 are out in WA (WARNs given 11/15; out by 12/20, last pay 01/17/25; 60days notice typical of union)
All across other states? about 3000?
Another 12K needed. When and where will this be?
IAM being tight-lipped, damage control?

I am not worried about the non-union, they won't have any pay raise soon anyway (now that Boeing is losing money) and they have skills that they can use at another workplace, the job market is not bad yet
But what about the laid-off 'machinists'?
Take the long look at the UAW who 'won' last year please

Nah. Just worked the excel files today, they aren't getting hit. Looking at increased head count for IAM next year.

Just like SPEEA did in year 2000. Won the battle but lost the war. 787 design disbursed around the globe after the strike. Management ruined 787 program by doing this. Let's see what management ruins after IAM strike.
