This is literally the worst company. Everyday you need to look over your shoulder.

Folks! Read the article, it’s related to Coram and a part of the 2900.

There were another 42 announced last week outside of the 2900. The end dates are late January/ early February. All seem to be Aetna.

Most people are expecting ongoing layoffs especially in DDAT, but in smaller batches. There is still alot of duplicate roles and restructuring.

Per Providence Business News article titled “ CVS issues notice of another round of layoffs as part of plan to cut 2,900 jobs” . Only 12 are actually people that report to 1 CVS drive. The remainder are remote workers reporting to someone in 1 CVS.. no list of roles has been published yet but I can tell you some folks just found out recently, not back in October. As far as I’ve been told there are no other layoffs planned beyond the original 2900. New leadership wants stability for now. Now we all know if they keep posting cr-p numbers that could change.

I am not a plant, I just like the truth. These people were informed a while ago. Believe me, i know. Also, the title of this post is “a new round of layoffs,” hence the reason i was pointing out it was part of the original. Lastly, there are some that have a separation date of early January. These are also part of the original 2,900 and they also have already been informed.

@2vat+1vK3foJE - that’s not to mention that nobody is even claiming it ISN’T a part of the 2,900, yet 3 people come into the thread disputing something that was never even said or implied. It is pathetic that CVS sends people to this board to try to gaslight people.

You plants that keep saying this is old are really beating around the bush. Yes, it is likely a part of the 2,900 that was preannounced; but the point is that over 700 people were just informed of their pending termination on, or around, 11/25. It is new to them, and others will continue working in fear. Just stop with your propaganda.

@1zcd+1vK3foJE I think many people assumed that the original 2, 900 were already announced back in October. Seems plausible that some people think this is new. Get a grip.

It’s not another round. It’s part of the original 2,900. They just staggered some of the dates. Stop spreading false information.

@1qto+1vK3foJE The majority of those laid off in this round of 796 individuals will be remote workers. Really flies in the face of all this relaxing of RTO orders. You don't have to go into the office if you're getting laid off. Google it for those who don't believe, and see for yourself. Article does say that this is part of the 2,900 laid off strategy, so take that for what it's worth.

Where is the list of eliminations by job titles for RI and FL? I don't see it.

Hope my former “manager” is on that list. She wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars on useless agencies who accomplished nothing and still got promoted. Hmm wonder why CVS is losing money

Only 12 of those work in RI. …And tell me they aren’t targeting remote employees. Someone needs to publish the letter with positions!
