Boeing Co., Chicago, made a discretionary contribution of $3 billion
to its global defined benefit plans in November,
spokesman Bryan Watt confirmed.
The aerospace and defense company made the contribution with
common stock, according to its 10-K filing with the SEC on Monday.
As of Dec. 31, global pension plan assets totaled $68.7 billion,
while projected benefit obligations totaled $82.4 billion,

The Russian aircraft MC-21 will be in demand on the civil aviation market.
This opinion was expressed by the President of Boeing in Russia and the
CIS Sergey Kravchenko in an interview with the Russia-24 TV channel,
reported by TASS.

"As for the MC-21, I believe that this is an absolutely innovative aircraft,"
he said. "I wish it success in certification, I am sure that this aircraft will
be in great demand."
The MC-21 is a medium-range civil aircraft developed by the
Irkut Corporation. The new model is now undergoing certification tests.
MC-21 is designed to operate over a distance of about 6 thousand km and
is being created as a replacement for the Tu-154 and Tu-204/214 airliners,
as well as as an alternative to foreign-made aircraft: Airbus A320,

Southwest Airlines will return the Boeing 737 MAX to revenue service
beginning March 11, 2021, the carrier announced on Thursday.

"Since the FAA issued official requirements in November 2020 that enable
airlines to return the Boeing 737 MAX to service, we have been working to
meet the FAA's requirements by modifying certain operating procedures,
implementing enhanced pilot training requirements, installing FAA-approved
flight control software updates, and completing other required maintenance
tasks specific to the MAX aircraft."

They should lay off the most entrenched managers who think the rules don’t apply to them which is why you have so much nepotism in the company but they rarely do.

I know of one manager that got his notice yesterday, it was a matter of time . All second levels had to nominate at least one for the chopping block , as far as coming back to the toolboxes I don’t think they can anymore but not sure
