Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Bottom of the barrel

The reason to choose this topic is because low quality employees in MVD and India will not understand.
After years of layoffs and numerous voluntary separation opportunities, the ONLY people left in Sabre are bottom of the barrel, resources who will not get a job outside. The reason - these were retained not because of their capabilities, but because of this skill to kiss a$$. Biggest example is the delivery director in UK.

@1yx The employees with the best tech knowledge ( based outside the U.S.) are the ones from Poland. For that matter, they are the best in the company. Bar a few real old timers in the U.S. who of course have the benefit of decades of experience.
The ones in Uruguay and India are a mixed bag. Pretty much like in the U.S.

Sabre employee here. Head selection for layoffs is almost exclusively salary-based. The highest-earning employees in every team/department/position get sacked, and the ones remaining are usually the least experienced and skilled. So the quality of the work and service provided plummets.
PS: Uruguay employees are usually better at their job than Poland or India employees. They're also more expensive, since cost of living and salaries are higher in Uruguay than in Poland or India. The US has very few employees left, mostly management and some developers and product managers.

The OP is clearly is a low knowledge, frustrated fellow who possibly has no life other than spewing hot air on layoffs.com.

If this is the Sabre of airline ticketing they outlived their usefulness a decade ago. All online and handled with other platforms. Like the buggy whip company that folded when cars evolved. A good example is private check printing company where you can get personalized Garfield or Beetle Bailey checks without contacting your bank. What is your complaint?
