Not just CTO, all worst VPs, head of platform and AppStudio - what are these old guys still doing MSI? why board of directors missing this simple logic? management should understand they are loosing project not because of employees, it is because of the worst vision and strategy that management has.

I have told long back t that they need to fire cto. He is a jerk and cannot manage anything. His behaviour itself is so disgusting.! Shouting? For your own fault at others? How can they keep him?

Appstudio, product and platform should not have more than 30 people combined but seems like they have 500+.! I was so disgusted with politics there. And now they are laying off working people but keeping the cash burn people alive in product, platform and app studio team? Well, good luck with that.!

I am confused. There has been no layoff in Target since Jan. What is everyone talking about?

Guys, stop screwing yourself. The larger cause is you are making difficult for you to find the next one by doing this. Accept the fact and move. what has to happen has happened, respect and do what is next than dwelling on it. Company has done what it has to do, revamping is a part of org. Whilst it goes through tough times or when a new model is emerging. Blame is to be interested and not to pass it on. For folks wo are in, stay put and I belive we are the leaders in GRC and will continue to be.

On a side note: if a group of tech contractors/employees which do a good portion of their work in a 2nd language can't properly identify a forum in this 2nd language regarding their employer, does it not call in to question their basic ability to function at any level of proficiency?

i was a poor person and part of this layoff. This proves that 'Do't love your company'.

2 days before only i submitted my this year appraisal form. I feel this is not the end. there will be more lay off.

I seen this company growth(200 employees to 2000) and now i am seeing the down fall.

The days are over when people had such an integrity that if a rail accident happens, the Prime Minister resigns taking all the accountability on themselves. In today's world, the big fish just blames the small fish for not being efficient. Nobody realizes that why the small fish in not efficient.

Gone are the days when you look at the company and its market size and decide to join it. Always look what is in there for you. How much you are contributing? What is the visibility of your work (trust me selling is everything - so many people who hardly work but please their managers will survive any slowdown/layoffs)? It human nature to appreciate what you see and hear. No manager will go and sell you for your hard work if you are not selling yourself.

Yes, the utter shamelessness and failure of company continued today as well. They gave most idiotic reasons and excuses to fire employees, these cowards were not daring enough to accept their complete failure as a company and their unstable products. Instead they made many deserving resources suffer the pain.

They ultra talented brainy higher management is going to justify to remaining resources, that whatever had to happen, has happened. Same drama was done 2 months back with whole team and they dont feel ashamed of repeating old repeated dialogues again.

They just brag about being market leaders , truth is they cant behave the same.

Their short term vision less decisions has costed many many resources their jobs

Am glad that I have put my paper recently. I don't know what made me look for a new job one month back, but seeing the current situation here am very happy that I did the right thing.

I am just sitting in the office and waiting for them to call me to finish the formalities and go.

MetricStream is at verge of Closing. The way they have treated the employees are Shameful.Loss ,Layoffs are part of any IT organization but barbaric treatment to Old employees, Interns and freshers are way above any justification. The company's higher management are clueless about their own company strength, revenue target, profitability and futuristic approach.I urge the every employee to raise their voice against this inhuman treatment and bring this to public domain so that no one in future could be victimized this way.

Its an irony that in such a small company still visibility is not there.your hardwork and performance eveything will be ignored and bootlickers show off people will survive.resources who brag about their so called achievements will grow up the ladder.talent and hardwork will not get you anything.these two layoffs in last two months are perfect examples. all resources who could not go in managers good books because of their personalities which does not allow them to beat the drum of their success or talent are shamelessly fired.incpability of their managers to identify true talents have costed resources their job

They dont have projects to run the company anymore. It is bound to happen again in next months if situation remains same.ppl were asked to leave within half an hour.ppl are way too scared to work anymore.layoff happened across teams. Mostly highly salaried managers.

People were let go at the end of March and again now at the end of June. I don't know the numbers but 500 seems very high.

Some layoffs happened yesterday at HQ and some here and there already last month. They're just not advertising it, but, it looks like layoff is full in effect.
