Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Have the Employee Survey Results been published?

Just curious to know how these results turned out and if they are even usable? With so many management changes this year, not sure if everyone would be happy. I know dissatisfaction around retaliation practice after contesting the ratings from 2023 and lack of promotional opportunities were common topics.

I don't answer radio button surveys. I can say the BEST challenging and rewarding job I have had in 20 years turned into a drudgery when CHC took over and Neil made indiscriminate cuts. It has turned much worse with UHG. No wonder folks give me their "Condolences" When I tell them I work for United now. Everyone is just a line item. Today it is an untrusting, uncooperative and incompetent mess. And stop with the THANKSGIVING emails. Actions show you don't give two Sh..ts

Unhappy employees are typically unproductive ones. If a team constantly gets negative survey results it makes sense to reorganize.

I gave a brutally honest “anonymous” review. Yes, I knew the risks. After giving 110% for nearly three decades, I was RIF’d along with many vocal, long term employees. Seems to me they found the easiest way to fix the survey results…. Cut the vocal people, in turn scaring those that remain into submission, hire additional staff in India for less money and send out new mid-year surveys because they really care about how you feel. In all my years, maybe once or twice I saw them make a real change based on those results, but only if it would equally benefit them.

Haven’t heard anything yet. They don’t do much as a result of the surveys anyways. In my org they said that everyone just rated every choice low because they were mad but that was not true after viewing them myself. They might make committees to solve the problem but they never address the real problem.

The committees say things like we can only do things within our power. This means, no reduced work load, no better pay or benefits, no slowing down on hiring unqualified people. They will never resolve the culture problem here because apparently no one has the power to give anyone a decent raise.
