Mass layoffs planned around by 2 sources who are close to the board. Very targeted looks like. Do not negotiate severance without an attorney. You are legally allowed to record the zoom call - check local laws in your state. Do not sign severance agreement if they insist on signing NDA or non compete. Technically all agreements that withhold severance in exchange of signature is void and you claim it as ‘signed under duress’. Good luck!

RTO is what will drive mass resignations, no need to layoffs when your staff walk out the door
These layoffs are planned far in advance so it’s not a hit or miss or big surprise. The June layoff was known by Directors at announcement of Feb 6500 layoff.
Show us on the Doll where Dell touched you.
Dell is so big one can throw a stone and hit a layoff somewhere in the world.
you dont know the details of the persons employement
but you guys are always yelling fire when it's just cigarette smoke
Well, maybe the person is stretching his "connection" to the info but there are layoffs happening.
There have been 2 in the past month in our US based group that I have 100% seen. Not I "heard" people I actually know.
Before someone makes a snide comment about poor performance or bad attitude, I can assure you that these were not poor performers. Senior people with excellent work and highly respected.
I think this is what is causing the unrest, the trickle of 1 here and 1 there getting let go, is like a slow lingering death.
People were already notified this week and June 2nd is their last day at least in DFS
Hillary Clinton....is this you spreading these rumors.
Time for a DELL WFR Bullsh-t Bingo.
this is looking like a big bag of fake news
so many contradictions unconnected ends
You can tell straight away by the comment that this is rubbish.
The "Board" at a company of this size doesnt have friends who are close to it, and if it did they wouldnt be ba----g on to Reddit trolls. Nor would this be part of "the board" papers.
The most credible source is not "the board", thats just words thrown around to sound important. It would be others.
This isnt an honest post
The next round in in June and then again in September.
Field based customer facing... AE, SE, OSE, FMM, CT and however many more people are getting paid to do the same job out in the field.
Fully agree on the last comment. Dell is so large and covers so many countries that it would be good to at least know what some details.
Simple ask, can people with real info include what org they are from or what org is being hit? It would be helpful with Dell being such a big company...Thank you!
What business unit? Everyone always knows someone, but no one ever says what groups.
I know several people who have already been told they’re being terminated. June 2nd is their last day.
If you're making "too much" or are a pain in the as*... consider yourself on the list
That's probably the day they're shown the door, look for "org update" meeting on Tuesday - Wednesday.
Targeted, towards who?
On a Friday?? That’s a first ..
What source?
I have heard the same about the first week in June. This is just the beginning of what's planned through the end of 2023.
